Dr. Julia Gressick — Director

Dr. Julia Gressick is an Assistant Professor of Instructional Technology in the School of Education at Indiana University South Bend. There, she teaches educational psychology, instructional technology and secondary mathematics methods courses for pre-service teachers. Julia earned her Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from the University of Wisconsin — Madison in 2012. Prior to pursuing graduate studies, she was a public middle school mathematics teacher in Newport, Rhode Island. Julia's research interests include games in learning, mathematical argumentation, and understanding the role of external aides in problem solving processes. In her free time, she enjoys travel and spending time outdoors in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, where she grew up.
