Our community's second annual Next Steps in Math and Science Education conference brought together approximately 100 educators, business owners, parents, professors, government officials, administrators, and community leaders to discuss strategies for improving STEM education. Bertha Carson-King gave the keynote address, and a panel of business, community, and education leaders provided context for this issue. Breakout sessions allowed participants to network and brainstorm next steps for improving math and science education in our community.
